Saw this over at Hattie Collins (Journalist/Editor /occasional DJ) blog (see here). I’m actually sick of songs with the word skank in the title and/or a dance routine to it.. although I guarantee I’ll be playing it as it picks up momentum. Big up Smasher still, I still think ‘The Message’ and ‘back in the day’ were huge. ‘The Message ‘ shoulda been signed during the whole bassline fad….

I like my new mix CD. The reasons for this are:

1. I spent a good day or so putting it together just to make people happy and skank around their living rooms.

2. I like it when I mix donaeo’s ‘Party Hard’ into Hard House Banton’s ‘Siren’. It sounds all good and stuff with the mixing and effects and stuff.

3. I also like it when I mix Princess ‘frontline’ remix into the original ‘frontline’ tune. This is for similar reasons to number 2.

5. I’m sick of people thinking I only like and play rnb?!? when was the last time you heard more than 3 rnb tunes in most  clubs?!? I will buss up any club, anywhere……and it probably won’t be with rnb (although if this was required I would also mash up your club with rnb, I’m versatile like that)
