Big up to everyone who has been following the blog and hitting it up on a regular through 2009. As you can tell, content has been low last few months due to being very busy and focused on other sides of what I do. You helped me get my personality and geekyness, as well as my love for music across very well (I think)…..
BUT
The blog will be back FEBRUARY 15th 2010 with a new look, new contributors, and a whole bag of new stuff/mixes/features etc. I shall be using the cliché saying in regards to this – I’m Goin In!
No one on the blogging got swagger (played out) like us (me)
Big up SB TV, he is fully putting the work in and I highly rate the kid.
A new feature on his Youtube channel is F64 aka Fresh 64; an exclusive 64 bars from some of the UK’s heaviest MC’s. I featured the first one courtesy of JME. This time, Wretch steps up to the plate and makes me realise why he’s one of my favourite MC’s.. fire
So DJ Yasmin has put together a heavy lil mini mix for you to download for FREEEEEEEE! to give you a taster of what to expect this Sunday at ‘Bad Intentions’ in Camden (If you don’t know what I’m talking about , look, like 2 post down from here!)

My friend and fellow DJ alumni (it’s like a cult, without suicide pacts, but with Serato), DJ Yasmin (follow her here ‘pon Twitter, she’s like a Twitter celebrity or something), started a new night a few weeks back: Bad Intentions.
The ethos; Good vibes, a friendly atmosphere, and stupidly heavy RnB & Hip Hop with a dash of Dancehall and other such good musics. It would (I imagine) be heavily 90’s and noughties Hip Hop & RnB (aka The best).
AND…..it FREEEEEEE! My favourite price.
The reason I’m bigging this up so much? Not just cos I’m DJing there this Sunday alongside my favourite Female DJ named Yasmin (I know 7 of them, fact…….ok, it’s not a fact. It’s a lie), but because Yasmin does this night purely based on the love of the music. It’s not a money-making venture, it’s a night that allows DJ’s to play the kind of shizzle we wanna play, and the ravers a place to come and hear it (possibly shimmy too). I co-sign that kinda movement all day!
On the launch night, she had Mr Thing (badderman DJ), and last week motive was in the building. This week is me, yes me.
Expect to hear (amongst others), tuneage like this –
and this
…probably some of this
….definitely some of this
….I’d be a fool if this wasn’t played
…..you get the idea. It’s gonna be heavy. Pure good music that you never hear out in clubs anymore.
BASICALLY BE THERE, OR YOU ARE RETARDED (IN A BAD WAY)
Details of venue and time on the flyer, or email me for more info
